The system uses small handheld devices called Butlers at each table into which the players enter the result for the board just played. The results are then relayed by a two way radio link to a Master connected to a central computer which scores the event overall.
Displayed at each table for the current board is the score, the relative result against the field and details of where the moving pair should proceed to next. All information that would normally be available from the traveller is provided.
A result is available instantly the last score is entered. No more waiting until next week to see how you did, and no more tedious keying of the travellers into a computer - or heaven forbid any manual scorers still !
The movement can also be totally handled by Butler allowing clubs to use the most effective possible movement to ensure a maximum number of boards are played in a session with the minimum sit out time possible.
Swiss & Barometer movements can also now be played in real time. No necessity to paper score each round and no more 'round in arrears'.
