The Master acts as the controller for all the Butlers, it handles all the communications and is the central repository for the scores.
The Master is connected to your PC with a cable and operates in conjunction with Windows software provided. Results are stored in the Master in a protected memory area to protect against power failure.
The Master also contains details of, and manages the movement. You may use the pre-defined movements provided or you may enter your own varieties.
The club membership list is also centrally managed by the Master allowing pairs to identify themselves at tables by their club membership number at the start of the event. If you would like more technical information click here.
You may elect to use the scoring program available from UKUSA or you may wish to continue with your current favourite program. For your existing program to work with Bridge Butler it must be on our list of 'supported' software. (This list is not currently available).
If you are a software developer and would like to have your prgram supported please contact us. It is also likely that the UKUSA scoring program will be a bundled offering of a third party product.
